Azerbaijan’s ALTEC Glass plans to increase exports

Azerbaijan's ALTEC Glass plant, flat glass manufacturer, plans to increase the volume of production and exports to Israel in 2020, expert of ALTEC Glass plant told Trend.

"In 2019, the plant exported 3,000 square meters of glass to Israel. A significant growth of export volumes in this direction is expected in 2020. At the same time, we are exploring new directions for export to neighboring countries," the expert said.

"Daily production at the plant is 500 square meters, and it is planned to increase this figure to 600-700 square meters by the end of 2020. The products of the plant meet international quality standards and are used in the construction of hotels, high-rise buildings and other social facilities", said the expert of ALTEC Glass plant.

The plant is one of Azertehnoline company's enterprises.

Azertehnoline plant, the first resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park (SCP), was commissioned in 2013.

At present, Azertehnoline uses modern technologies for production and export of steel pipes with diameter from 400 to 2000 millimeters. Pipes of Azertehnoline company are used for transportation of crude oil, natural gas, for the needs of oil refineries, for installation of water pipelines, etc.

The company also produces polyethylene sewage pipes with steel reinforcement from 400 to 2400 mm in diameter, metal panel fences up to 2.5 meters wide and long, plastic fittings and products made of plastic injections, water and gas gate valves, plastic circular gate valves.

The factory has a number of obtained certificates for high quality of its products in accordance with international standards such as API, ISO 9001, OHSA 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 29001, GOST, AZS.
