Roads connecting number of Azerbaijan’s Agsu settlements reconstructed (PHOTO)

The State Agency for Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan has carried out the reconstruction of a section of the road on the Agsu-Agarkh-Rahimli-Garadagh highway, which connects nine settlements of Agsu region, Trend reports referring to the Agency.

The total length of the Agsu-Agarkh-Rahimli-Garadag highway, which starts from the city of Agsu, amounts to 39 kilometers. The section of the Agsu-Garadag road amounts to 20.3 kilometers, and the access roads to the villages of Garadaghly, Rahimli, Shahbeyli, Garabagly, Bozovand, Agarkh, Parakend, Mashadganli, Ulgudzh amount to 18.7 kilometers.

The roads were in bad condition for a long time, as they were not repaired. In this regard, the roads were thoroughly reconstructed taking into account the traffic intensity, administrative importance and development prospects.

The reconstruction of roads leading to nine settlements along the Agsu-Agarkh-Rahimli-Garadag route in the Agsu region will significantly improve transport links between these villages, ensure the development of agriculture and tourism, and have a positive impact on the social well-being of the population.
