BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. Türkiye's exports of furniture, paper, and wood products to Azerbaijan decreased by 29.4 percent to $28.5 million from January through March 2024 compared to the same month of 2023, Trend reports via Türkiye's Trade Ministry.
"In March 2024, Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and wood products worth $10 million to Azerbaijan, which is 38 percent less than the same period last year," the ministry said in a statement.
From January through March 2024, Turkish exports to global
markets fell by 1.2 percent to $1.9 billion, compared to the same
month in 2023.
In March of this year, Türkiye exported wood products valued $678.7
million, a 10.5 percent decrease from the previous year.
Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and wood items totaling $8
billion in the previous 12 months (March 2024-March 2023).
