Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 January / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / The British Foreign Office strongly recommends travel companies do not implement trips to the Azerbaijani occupied territories, Khazar Ibrahim, the press-secretary of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, stated to journalists on 14 January.
The issue is over the British tour operator Samuel Travel, which placed an advertisement about trips to Azerbaijani occupied territories.
"The British Government recommends its companies not to book such trips to Azerbaijani occupied territories or to appeal to Azerbaijan to receive permission for possible trips to the territory after an appeal from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to the British Government," Ibrahim said. Nagorno-Karabakh including other seven occupied territories are the Azerbaijani territories, he noted.
