Paris hopes for advancements in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement
Official Paris, alongside Washington and Moscow, hopes for advancements in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement, Trend reports with reference to the release of French Embassy to Azerbaijan issued on occasion of Azeri president Ilham Aliyevs visit to Paris.
Mentioning talks with French president Jacques Chirac and Senate speaker Christian Ponselet within the visit program, Embassy officials state Nagorno-Karabakh problem among the other themes of these talks.
Following Azeri-Armenian meeting in Rambouit February 10 to 11, France jointly with other co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group boosted its activity in order to arrange the next meeting between the parties in early June. Namely with this purpose high officials of Foreign Ministries and co-chairs visited Baku and Yerevan in late May.
