Azeri Soldier Released from Armenian Captivity
The representative of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, Ilgar Verdiyev, informed Trend that in the morning of December 23, the Azerbaijan soldier, Vusal Garajayev, who was in the Armenian captivity, was released.
The soldier taken as prisoner on December 7 was released as a result of the negotiations held by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Verdiyev said that there is no information on the place where the soldier was transferred to yet.
It should be mentioned that the statement of the Defense Ministry about Garajayev says that on Decmeber 7, Vusal Garajayev lost its way in the frontline and was taken as a prisoner by the Armenian Armed Forces.
Vusal Garajayev born in 1988 was drafted to the military service from Balaken district.
