Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Ilhamgizi / Activists of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO), refugees and internally displaced persons, representatives of society in total 100 people held a rally-march on 8 May from the Azizbayov monument to the Cemetery of Martyrs in Baku for the 15th anniversary of occupation of the Azerbaijani city Shusha.
The slogans "Karabakh!", "Liberation for Karabakh!" were sounded during the rally. They placed wreathes on the graves of the martyrs and commemorated the people who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The rally took place without incidents.
Some 20% of Azerbaijani territory (Nagorno-Karabakh and 7 nearby regions) have been under Armenian occupation since 1992. The city of Shusha was occupied on 8 May, 1992. In 1994, a ceasefire was signed between the countries.
