One of 3 sailors rescued from 'Volgo Balt 199' dry cargo ship that sank off the Turkish coast, died, Haber 7 online newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Nine crew members are considered missing. Eleven sailors are Ukrainian citizens, one - a Russian citizen. It is reported that the dry cargo ship transporting coal from Russian to Turkish city of Antalya sank near Istanbul.

Also, according to the TV channel, another dry cargo ship is drifting off the coast of Istanbul. The ship is flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.

All sea crossings were cancelled because of the strong southwesterly winds in Istanbul, Turkish DHA news agency reported on Tuesday.

Forecasters warn that the unstable weather will continue this week.
