A historic wooden building is burning in the district of Beşiktaş in the center of Istanbul, Sabah online newspaper reported on Thursday.
Fire trucks have arrived at the scene, but the firefighters have not been able to cope with the fire yet.
The causes of the fire are still unknown. Ambulance cars have aso arrived at the fire place.
