Two Azeri Citizens wounded in Blast in Moscow

Two citizens of Azerbaijan were wounded when an explosion ripped through Eurasia market on Sirenevy Boulevard,Trend reported quoting Bakhish Zeynalov, advisor of Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow on ANS TV

Zeynalov said that in accordance with the official information provided by Russian law-enforcement agencies, 49 people had been wounded by the blast. Eight of them died at the scene and 2 died at the hospital. Two young children were amongst those dead.

Azerbaijani Embassy official added that the explosion mainly affected the part of the market occupied by Vietnamese and Chinese citizens. However, two Azerbaijanis were amongst the wounded. It is not known yet whether any Azerbaijani citizens have died. Zeynalov said the wounded and dead had been delivered to hospitals and Azeri Embassy was currently in contact with them.

As the incident occurred near two containers with goods and full gas cylinders, commercial mafia war is considered to be the most likely motive for the explosion
