Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Javad Darahti, former chairman of the World Congress of Azerbaijanis (WCA), visited Azerbaijan. Darahti needs a special security in Azerbaijan. The special meeting of WCA will be held in Azerbaijan in February 2008. The need in security Darahti explained as he was afraid of terrorists of the Kurdistan Workers' Party.
Darahti said that the Kurdistan Workers' Party puts pressure to him through press.
Darahti demanded resignation of the current chairman of the organization, Gulamrza Tabrizi, and to hold the special meeting of WCA's European department consisting of 7 members.
"We will hold meeting in February and propose to elect the WCA co-chairs from Azerbaijan, Russia and Europe," Darahti said.
Darahti said he would not nominate his candidature for the chairman post of the organization.
