MP Denies Blames by Opposition

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev, the chairman of the Popular Front of Unified Azerbaijan Party (PFUAP) accuses the opposition parties of causing the contradiction in the country. PFUAP called these parties as a 'pocket opposition'. "These parties do not join the union of the opposition and attempt to cause the contradiction within the opposition," Hasanguliyev said to Trend agency.

Hasan Karimov, the deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) and the representative of the Azerbaijan opposition the Azadlig bloc stated in an interview with journalists that the opposition parties in the Parliament are under the government control, and is a pocket opposition,.

Azadlig, which unites three opposition parties the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), the Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA) and the Civil and Development Party (CDP), stated about the falsification of the latest parliamentary elections of Azerbaijan in 2005.

PFUAP's chairman, Gudrat Hasanguliyev was elected as an MP during the latest parliamentary elections in 2005. According to Hasanguliyev, the accusations by PFUAP on the closeness of the opposition parties in the Parliament with the Authorities are wrong, as these parties usually blame the Authorities which escape the dialogue with all the opposition parties. So the position of these parties does not differ from the position of the Authorities. MP Fazil Gazanfaroglu stated to Trend agency that the Azadlig bloc blame the opposition parties of the Parliament, representing itself as the 'mother of opposition'.

A neutral MP Ali Masimli said to Trend agency that the latest parliamentary elections were true in some regions and untrue in other. Nobody can blame that all the opposition parties work for the Authorities. Azadlig bloc unites three opposition parties - the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), the Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA) and the Civil and Development Party (CDP).
