Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Classic Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (CPFPA) created election headquarters due to the upcoming presidential elections 2008, the party reported to Trend.
The main directions of the party functioning and a program of minimum for approaching presidential elections for 2008 were passed during the Supreme Assembly of the party.
The Supreme Assembly made a decision to establish central election headquarters of CPFPA in regions and cities.
The party has not defined the candidate for the presidential post. The party is planning to define the candidate during the next session.
The founding meeting of CPFPA was held in March 2006.
