Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 October/ Trend , corr S. Kazimli/ About 50% of prisoners in jail 17 in Bina Settlement of Azerbaijan's Penitentiary Service voted as of 11:15a.m. local time.
The polling station 32 of Constituency Election Commission 2 of Azizbayov district N14 has been organized there.
A total of 284 prisoners out of 570 have already voted. Prisoners show high activity.
Prisoner Aliyev Valeh Islam oglu said he has already voted for the candidate of his choice and he said he have comprehensive information about all candidates.
Local observers say voting process runs normal. Today Azerbaijan is holding presidential voting.
A total of seven candidates take part in the elections including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of Ruling New Azerbaijan Party, Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party, Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party, Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party, Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.
