Vice speaker of the Georgia parliament from minority Paata Davitaya headed for the United States today. He said to reporters before leaving that he plans to hold several meetings.
"I will hold meetings in the Department of State, Department of Defense and Senate. The meetings are very important. They will focus on Georgia's security and situation in the conflict zones," he said.
Davitaya said the agenda also includes Georgia-Russia relations as "Russia is an occupier and major destabilizing factor in Georgia."
