Thousands of people unhappy with results of the June 12 presidential elections in Iran launched protest actions which led to clash with the police. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won the presidential elections by 63.6 percent of votes.

According to unconfirmed reports, the street clashes killed 150 people.

The police used tear gas, clubs and water cannons to disperse demonstrators.

We will conduct such actions regularly.

Opposition parties demonstrate double standards on several parties," chairman of Modern Musavat party Hafiz Hajiyev said.
