The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey will hold a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of Nationwide Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
On Dec. 11, a visit will be made to the park named after Heydar Aliyev in Ankara's region of Yenimahalla, as well as wreath will be laid to the monument. The event, which will start at 10.00 local time, will be attended by members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Azerbaijanis, representatives of the diasporas, Azerbaijani students and the staff and pupils of the school named after Heydar Aliyev, which functions in Ankara, the representatives of the embassy, the press service of the embassy told Trend on Dec. 9.
On this day, a memorial dinner will be given, and sura of the Koran will be read at the largest mosque in Ankara "Kodzhatepa". Prayers in the memory of Nationwide Leader will also be read at all mosques in Turkey.
