Karabakh Liberation Organization held an unsanctioned rally on Wednesday near the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan. About 20 people participated in the picket.

NGO representatives gave Israeli ambassador an appeal in connection with the interception. The activists believe that this act of Israel should be evaluated as a serious crime. The Israeli government should apologize to the world public. The Gaza Strip should be freed from the blockade.

A caravan of six ships, which transported pro-Palestinian activists and tons of humanitarian cargo to the Gaza Strip, was seized by Israeli special services on Monday night. Nine members were killed, dozens were wounded. Seven Israeli soldiers were also injured.

Following the interception, representatives of nearly 40 states were taken to Israeli prisons, the Interior Ministry said. More than half of them are citizens of Turkey, the rest are citizens from Australia, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Canada, Kuwait, Lebanon Mauritania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Serbia, Syria, U.S, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, South Africa.
