The term "occupation" cannot solve the problems between Georgia and Russia, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said, while answering questions from journalists.
"We can use the term 'occupation,' but the word does not solve the problem," he said. "We must convince Russia that it must withdraw its troops to their initial position as stated in the Sarkozy-Medvedev agreement."
The FM added that "we need to find 'ways to dialogue' with the international community to resolve the problem."
>Meanwhile, Kouchner said international observers should be sent to the Tskhinvali region and Abkhazia.
