On Thursday, the Mugham Center in Baku hosted the reception on the national holiday of South Korea - National Foundation Day.
In the first part of the reception a concert was held at which musicians performed the Azerbaijani and Korean national music. Then the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan Ji-ha Lee delivered the opening speech.
The reception was also addressed by the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov.
Mardanov noted that Azerbaijan can learn from the experience of South Korean counterparts in education sector.
The Minister also spoke about the education programs carried out between the two countries. He noted that ten South Korean universities are featured in the educational exhibition ongoing in Baku, which demonstrates the high level of cooperation between the two countries in this area.
