The Central Election Commission (CEC) will hand over ballots to the district election commissions on October 29, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the CEC, said.
He said that the ballots are rapidly prepared and sent.
"On Tuesday, for example, over 40 district election commissions have received their ballots," Panahov said.
According to the electoral legislation, the ballots will be submitted to the district election commissions five days before the elections in Azerbaijan. The constituencies receive them no later than three days before the voting.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
