President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated Samad Vurgun Poetry House after reconstruction, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The Head of State laid flowers at the monument to people's poet Samad Vurgun.
The President was informed about the reconstruction work in the Poetry House.
It was stressed national leader Heydar Aliyev attached great importance to Samad Vurgun's creativity.
President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Samad Vurgun in 2005.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed photos reflecting different periods of the poet's lifetime and activity.
The President congratulated employees of the Poetry House and wished them successes.
