Prosecutor General: If action is unsanctioned, it will be strictly suppressed

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 15 / Trend, K.Zarbaliyeva /

Unfortunately, radical opposition still exists in Azerbaijan. This opposition is at odds with the geography, Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov told journalists.

"The radical opposition in Azerbaijan is again trying to violate the social and political stability. We know the sources making these orders. Radical opposition should know that Azerbaijan is legal, secular state and all social and political processes are regulated by law, and if holding an action is not sanctioned, then it will be strictly suppressed," Garalov said.

Commenting on the April 2 action, Garalov said that this action was accompanied by violence and destruction of citizens' property. Nine of the organizers and participants of the action were made criminally liable.

"Individuals violating the social and political stability should be identified. The issue on the organizers can be considered at any time. Ali Kerimli [opposition leader] must respect the law, he should not incite to violence. We know whose order he executes," Garalov said.
