The 10th International Conference on Criminal Law runs in the Hungarian Legal Academy on Sept.8-10.
Representatives of 50 countries took part in discussions on the topic "Accusations and freedom of expression in the armed forces and police," the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary told Trend.
Participants of the event exchanged views on improving the existing legislation on issues that were brought up for discussion, as well as activities aimed at elimination of negative facts.
Assistant Prosecutor General, Military Prosecutor, Lieutenant-General Khanlar Valiyev represented Azerbaijan at the international conference.
In his speech at the conference, Valiyev spoke about the existing legislative framework in Azerbaijan to ensure freedom of expression, as well as the implementation of works in connection with the accession of our country to international treaties in this field.
