Most of the world does not know Iranian culture and the West tries to show a violent image of Iran, Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Mohammad Hosseini said today.
The EU earlier imposed new sanctions against Iran on Oct. 11. Some 29 officials were targeted, including three ministers.
The present ministers for intelligence (secret services), justice and culture are joined by a former interior minister, as well as regional governors, prosecutors and prison directors.
EU foreign ministers signed off the Iranian travel bans and asset freezes, alongside other sanctions on Belarus in Luxembourg on Monday.
Earlier, they imposed the first wave of restrictive measures against 32 Iranians in March.
During a visit to Tehran's Fourth International Digital Media Fair and Festival, with regard to Iran's "Clean Internet" plan, Hosseini said Islamic countries will make Iran their cyber space model.
