Azerbaijani Classic Popular Front Party Deputy Chairman Fikret Jafarov has explained his resignation by the issues accumulated over a period of time.
"This action is connected with the issues that have accumulated over a period of time," he told Trend today. "That is, "Democratic Union" faction has been created. The reasons of creating this fraction are not connected with yesterday's and today's issues. This is necessary due to the current intra-party negative situation, political course of the party and other issues."
He said he will continue his activity in the party.
"I will of course remain in the party," he said. "This is our party. We have determined the main areas of activity. Afterwards, we will work within the "Democratic Union" faction and solve the issues. We will try for several important actions to be made."
