Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade met with Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Cosgun, the Caucasian Muslims Office said today.
The meeting was of exploratory nature. Pashazade sincerely welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his future work. He expressed confidence that efforts will be made to further enhance cooperation, as well as in the religious and spiritual sphere between the brotherly countries and peoples.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, the ambassador said that he appreciates Pashazade's efforts in expanding spiritual ties between the two brotherly peoples, his personal contribution in the restoration of peace and stability in the region.
