Ireland, Dublin, Dec. 7 / Trend special corr. E. Huseynov /

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Eamon Gilmore has summarized the work of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin. Its two-day meeting ended on Friday.

He expressed satisfaction that a number of documents were adopted at the meeting. In particular, a common statement on the negotiations on the Transnistrian conflict settlement in the 5 +2 format, a resolution on combating the transnational threats, the decision on Helsinki 40 process, and a resolution on strengthened combat against corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing have been agreed. A decision was made about Switzerland's chairmanship in the OSCE in 2014 and Serbia in 2015.

However, Gilmore has regretted about the lack of consensus while discussing the resolution on combating neo-Nazism, as well as the resolution on freedom of the press, assembly and association.

Ireland has handed over the functions at the OSCE chairmanship to Ukraine in 2013.
