Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava was questioned on Saturday concerning an incident at the National Library on February 8. Ugulava told media that he gave extensive testimony to the police investigators.
"After this interrogation, I had more questions to the investigative bodies as the police behaved passively during a rally of "Georgian Dream" supporters," he said.
Ugulava considers that he gave extensive testimony and will not be questioned any more.
It should be stressed that Ugulava twice refused to appear for questioning. But after Friday's court decision on his forced appearing for questioning, he decided to come to the police of Tbilisi's old district. The interrogation lasted over three hours.
