A delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafet Asgarov will pay an official visit to China in late April, Chinese extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Azerbaijan Hong Jiuyin told journalists today.
The ambassador said that relations between Azerbaijan and China are developing rapidly.
Last year six Chinese delegations visited Azerbaijan.
According to the ambassador, Azerbaijan and China are developing an educational sphere. The two countries signed an agreement on cooperation on the matter. According to it, the quota on student exchanges will be increased from 15 to 40 people from 2013. This is a very big development.
