Georgia, Tbilisi, March 22 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia /

The next 23rd round of the Geneva talks is scheduled for March 26-27. Georgian delegation will be headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend. The names of other delegation members have not yet been specified.

The talks will be attended by representatives of the so-called South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as Georgia, the Russian Federation, the U.S., the UN, the OSCE and the European Union.

The Russian delegation will be headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.

Presumably, the focus of the talks will be given to stabilizing the situation in the region and guarantees of non-use of force, as well as improvement of the humanitarian and socio-economic situation.

Recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze said recently that the Georgian delegation to the Geneva talks will face some changes.
