The Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt has resolving technical issues related to the evacuation of citizens form that country.

"At the moment, it is resolving issues related to the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens from Egypt. There is already compiled a complete list of citizens who will be evacuated from the country. Currently about 55 people are in the list. After resolving all technical issues they will be sent home," the first secretary of the Azerbaijani embassy in Egypt Elnur Ismailov told Trend.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Saturday ordered the evacuation of citizens of Azerbaijan from Egypt, said in report of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Instructions in connection with the evacuation were given to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.

According to Ismailov, the embassy staff will continue working in Egypt.

Azerbaijani citizens that wish to leave Egypt may contact with the Embassy by "hot line" +201 008 112 577.

The death toll in clashes between supporters of former president Mohammed Morsi and the Egyptian security forces during the crackdown on demonstrations has reached at least 129 people, Anadolu agency reported on Saturday.

It is also reported about 377 injured.

Supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi announced the Friday as "the Day of Rage" and called on his supporters to take to the "march of millions" in protest against the actions of the army that has taken a course for the violent suppression of protests. Violent clashes between demonstrators and security forces have began in Cairo and other cities. Security forces used tear gas and combat bullets.

Yesterday night, the leaders of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood movement have called on their supporters to be taking to the streets over the week.
