Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed today the orders on the creation of new ministries.
According to the order, in order to improve the structure of public administration, on the base of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan the Ministry of Economy and Industry has been established.
According to another order, in order to improve the structure of public administration, on the base of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan the Ministry of Energy has been established.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is in charge to prepare and submit to the President of Azerbaijan for one month the proposals on the draft regulation on the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the draft regulation on the Ministry of Energy; the structure and number of employees of new ministries; within two months submit to the President of Azerbaijan proposals to reconcile these orders with the acts of the President, to provide within three months of harmonization of regulatory legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers with these orders and inform the President of Azerbaijan; to control the alignment of regulatory legal acts of central executive bodies with these orders and to inform the President of Azerbaijan for the period of five months.
The Cabinet of Ministers also mandated to address issues arising from these orders.
Orders come into force from the date of signing.
