President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by his family members, has visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev after the swearing-in ceremony.
The head of state and his family members put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
They also placed flowers at the graves of state figure Aziz Aliyev and professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
President Ilham Aliyev together with his family members also visited the Alley of Martyrs.
The head of state paid respect to Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
The head of state laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
The president and his family members enjoyed panoramic view of Baku.
