Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, president of the Federal Republic of Germany.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and the people of your country on the occasion of the German Unity Day of the Federal Republic of Germany,” Ilham Aliyev said in his letter.
“We attach great importance to Azerbaijani-German relations. In this regard, the expansion of our relations in political, economic and humanitarian areas day by day is satisfactory. I believe that cooperation as well as joint activities of our countries in a multilateral format will successfully continue.”
“On this remarkable day, I extend my best wishes to you, and wish the friendly people of Germany everlasting peace and prosperity,” the Azerbaijani president said.
Ilham Aliyev also congratulated Moon Jae-in, the president of South Korea.
“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and the people of your country on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Korea,” Ilham Aliyev said in his letter.
“I believe that the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea will continue developing and expanding to the benefit of our nations. On this remarkable day, I wish you the best of health, success in your endeavors, and the friendly people of your country everlasting peace and prosperity.”
