BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14. Belgium will continue to support Azerbaijan in resolving the mine problem, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan Julien de Fraipont said, in particular, while presenting credentials to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on October 14, Trend reports.
He emphasized that Belgium is interested in the state of regional stability and the relationship between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Noting the recent progress towards the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Ambassador said that Belgium encourages the steps taken in this direction. At the same time, he emphasized that Belgium will continue to support Azerbaijan, as well as ANAMA's activities in solving the mine problem faced by the nation.
