The debts of the Azerbaijani state enterprises and organizations on payments to the State Fund for Social Security (SFSS) reaches 76 billion manats, Salim Muslimov, the chairman of the SFSS, said to a news-conference on Friday, Trend reports.
According to Muslimov, total amount of debts makes up 1 trillion manats taking into consideration imposed fine and 670 billion manats without fine. It also includes restructured and written off debts. 95% of debts is old and accumulated till 2000. “It is mainly debts of different bodies of the Baku Executive Power, establishments of the Defense Ministry.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) fulfilled all its liabilities on old and current debts to the State Fund and does not have debts,” Muslimov said.
He noted AZAL State Concern, Azerbaijan State Railway, as well as Azerkimya State Company, Azerigaz Joint Stock Company (JSC), Azerenerji JSC were big enterprises with frozen debts on payments to the SFSSО. “But they do not have current debt to the Fund after 2000,” Muslimov said.
