В"We wait for the response from the AzerbaijanвЂ™s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FM) on the appeal concerning the detention of the UkraineвЂ™ FM advisor, the activist of the UkraineвЂ™s вЂњPoraвЂќ organizationвЂќ Sergey Evtushenko, the charge d-affaires of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Igor Kizima told Trend, commenting on the fact of release and deportation of Evtushenko from Baku.
The Ukrainian diplomat noted, вЂњfor the moment the issue is under discussion вЂњand the situation will be clarified after receiving the reply from FM of Azerbaijan.
The reply on the appeal of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission is вЂњpurely diplomaticвЂќ and it will be responded, the head of the AzerbaijanвЂ™s FM information department Tair Tagizade told Trend.
Evtushenko was released and deported to Ukraine on 17 September 2005. The Ukrainian Embassy was not informed both of his detentions and deportation to his homeland.
The вЂњPoraвЂќ activist was invited to Baku by the oppositional election block Azadlig for participation in the work of the international conference on situation in Azerbaijan and Belarus.
