Turkish embassy comes out with statement on results of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

The representatives of the Istanbul Marmara Group and the members of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Interparliamentary Friendship Group, monitored the 6 November parliamentary elections, arrived in Baku at their initiative, Trend reports referring to the message spread by the Turkish embassy.

The statements by these observers based on their observation at election stations must not raise doubts.

The message says that 60 Turkish official observers arrived in comparison of the observation missions of the OSCE/ODIHRР', the Council of Europe and the NATO and monitored within these organizations.

The official position of the Turkey is stated through appropriate authoritative bodies, the message says.

“We hope that Azerbaijan will decisively continue the way of democratization based on the principles of public consensus and leadership of law,” the document notes.
