“Replacement of the chairman of the Consultative Council can depend on the decision of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP),” Mammad Alizade, the chairman of the Consultative Council of Pro-Governmental Parties, told Trend.
Alizade stressed that the provisions of the Council did not envisage term of chairmanship. Earlier the chairman of the Consultative Council was elected per 6 months, but in accordance with the new provisions the issue of term was raised. Chairman can be replaced in case of need,” he underlined.
Touching upon the authorities of NAP at the Consultative Council, Alizade said that solution of all issues depended on the party.
It should be mentioned that Alizade is at the head of the Consultative Council for over three years.
