The Azerbaijani Youth, Sports and Tourism Ministry drawn up an action plan on the 20 January tragedy, the press service of the Ministry told Trend.
The representatives of the youth organizations will organize round-tables, conferences, literature and artistic parties on topic The 20 January Tragedy in the Memory of People. Competitions of composition and picture will be staged at secondary schools. Besides, on the eve of 20 January the Ministry will hold international tournament on free-style wrestling dedicated to the memory of the shehid (martyr), master of sport Mushvig Isayev, republic kung-fu tournament, as well as international cycle race, organized in cooperation with the Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan, Iranian cycle club Fajr and Azerbaijani Cycle Sport Federation.
Memorable events have started all over the country in relation to the next anniversary of the 20 January. Mass paying of a tribute to the Martyrs Alley will be organized on 20 January, while martyrs will be commemorated with a minute of silence at 12.00pm [local hour].
