President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on 19 January deputy Commander of the USA General Headquarters Commandment in Europe, General Charles World. During the meeting the head of the state voiced his hope that the visit will contribute to further development of bilateral military cooperation, Trend reports.
Charles World, in his turn, noted the achievements of Azerbaijan in the military sphere, as well as the activities of the Azerbaijan National Agency on Mine Actions (ANAMA) made a favorable impression. The ANAMA activities is a fine example for other countries, the general said.
