On Wednesday the spring session of the Milli Majlis [Parliament] started with a minute of silence in the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide and the roof collapse of the Basmanni bazaar in Moscow. Over 10 bills were put for discussion at the Milli Majlis, Trend reports.
Ogtay Asadov, the chairman of the Milli Majlis, gave brief information on the results of the spring session 2005 and the bills, put for discussion.
The session approved bills on reorganization of the Milli Majlis disciplinary commission, reorganization of the Milli Majlis accountancy commission, changes in the composition of the Milli Majlis permanent commission, changes in the composition of the Milli Majlis working group on interparliamentary relations and aproval of the legislative action plan of the spring session 2006.
MP Jalal Aliyev came out with proposal on injection of changes and supplements into the Law on education, MPs Panah Husseyn, Nasib Nasibli, Sabir Rustamkhanly and Siyavush Novruzov - other legislative acts.
