The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry has set up the application of a licensing system for owners of transports conveyances, which are involved in cargo and passenger deliveries. The similar licenses will be also applied on owners of taxi, Ziya Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Transport Minister, told Trend.
Along with licenses, it is also panned to issue differential signs on payment of taxes for transport conveyances. Physical and legal entities will appeal to the Transport Ministry for issue of licenses. The licenses will be issued only after the expertise of the automobile conveyances, the minister stressed. The cost of the license is 100 conditional financial units. The efficiency term of the license is 5 years. However, the cards on licensing of the automobile conveyances will be issued once a year. Thus, the state of automobile conveyances and observance of the terms of license will be checked up every year.
Mammadov said that it was planned to create around 10 places for issue of licenses. Every of them will deliver licenses for appropriate type of delivery (cargo, passenger, taxi, etc). All owners of automobile conveyances ought to receive licenses in 6 months.
The Transport Ministry also established regional divisions (in 9 regions including Baku) for issue of license cards. Moreover, the Ministry established a special inspection which will conduct control over the execution of licensing terms. The application of a new system will enable to better the struggle with deviation from payment of taxes by owners of automobile owners, as well as rendering of services to passengers and cargo owners.
