The talks between the European Union and South Caucasus under the EUs New Neighborhood Policy will be complete in May, the Committee on European integration of the Georgian parliament told Novosti-Georgia.
As a chairing country Austria intends to accord with the countries of the region an action plan under the program, the committee said.
Meanwhile, the Austrian State Secretary, Hanz Winkler, stated that the EU has strategic plans in respect to the region and the EUs interests include transit opportunities and stability of the region, Trend reports. The new policy is a reliable mean for the achievement of these goals.
