Pakistan is against the armed resolution of the crisis around the Irans nuclear program, Pakistani Foreign Minister Abdullah Sattar stated in a meeting with journalists in Baku.
Iran is a sovereign country and has right to defend its rights, the Pakistani FM stressed, noting his countrys concerns on the tension in the region in connection with Iran, which has longest borders with Pakistan.
Like Iran and Iraq we also want peaceable resolution to the conflict and I will hold talks with head of state in this respect, Sattar noted. He held consultations with his countrys Prime Minister in this connection.
Concerning the US attacks on Iran the Pakistani
Minister said that that his country was against the resolution of the conflict, as the armed resolution complicates the economic situation in the region and negatively impacts on in the countries of the region, including Pakistan.
I am threatened with the growing instability in connection with possible armed actions, he continued. The observation of the instructions of the International Agency for Nuclear Power would be the most acceptable variant for Iran, he assured.
Pakistan is against resolution of the problem in an armed way and supports the position on the necessity of continuing the talks at the international level, he added.
