CIS leaders discuss CIS reformation at informal summit in Kremlin

CIS leaders are discussing CIS reformation issues at informal summit in Kremlin. Trend reports with reference to RIA-Novosti, opening the forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was aware CIS chairman had prepared some proposals on the organization development and he suggests paying attention to these issues.

Putin passed the word to CIS chairman Nursultan Nazarbayev, which, in turn, reminded that Kazakh embassies had recently disseminated the project to be put to discussion. "This is one of the proposals. Everyone may add something to them ", he said, "The aim is one, to achieve some standards to satisfy all member-countries".

Russian president thanked all summit participants for coming to Moscow. Putin noted that a night before all CIS leaders had had a nice opportunity to talk in a completely informal situation. After the meeting in Kremlin, he said, CIS leaders will continue discussions and speak of bilateral and multilateral issues. In particular, CIS leaders will attend horse races for RF president prize on Saturday.

The summit features 8 presidents of CIS countries, among them President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
