On 4 August the Azerbaijani President Aliyev participated in a ceremony of foundation of a new road junction in Baku, Trend reports. The new facility will be comprised of two bridges, two railway bridges and two tunnels.
The construction of a facility with the cost of 25m AZN will be complete in December 2007. The construction work will be implemented by an Azerbaijani group of companies Accord.
Attending the ceremony were the Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov, the head of the Baku City Mayoral Office, Hajibala Abutalibov.
This$ flyover comes as the least of 9 junctions under construction in accordance with the Azerbaijani Presidents decree on unloading he transport infrastructure of Baku. In conformity with the decree, 13 underground passages will be built in Baku.
