The Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Azerbaijani Parliament for Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology Elton Mammadov was elected the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly for Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology, Elton Mammadov told Trend.
E. Mammadov was elected to this position at the time of the meeting of the Committee held on October 16-20 in Saint-Petersburg. The Deputy emphasized that during the meeting, model laws were adopted to present to the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly. Mammadov made a speech regarding the ecological laws adopted in Azerbaijan.
The next meeting of the Committee of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly for Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology will take place in May in Saint-Petersburg.
