After Critics on Azerbaijan, Netherlands Parliament Member Made Amendments to His Report
The member of the Azerbaijani Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Elmira Akhundova informed Trend that the meeting of the PACE Ad Hoc Committee for Migration and Refugees took place in Paris.
According to her, during the meeting, debates were organized on the report of the Netherlands MP, Leo Platvoet regarding the destiny of the missing people and captives in South Caucasus. After the critics of Azerbaijan, Platvoet resumed the report. The report included a number of items in favor of Azerbaijan. In addition, a series of technical amendments were made to the report. During the meeting, the MP, Aydin Mirzazade, forwarded several proposals, Akhundova said. She said that after the amendments to the report, prepared by Platvoet, it became balanced and objective.
The first option of Platvoet report did not satisfy Azerbaijan.
